Hola amigos,

 

I'm so excited to have everyone in class this Fall! Whether I know you or not, you probably didn't know that Spanish is a hidden passion of mine. To be honest, all foreign languages are! I studied to be a Spanish teacher at ECU and then studied to be an ESL teacher through a university in California called Azusa Pacific. We've been a part of several different co-ops over the years. I taught Spanish the first year Arrow opened, but the next year life started to change. I spent some time teaching ESL at an orphanage in Honduras, and then we went to Tulsa, to McAlester, back to Tulsa, and finally back home to Ada in 2020. During that time, we've been a part of 5 co-ops and have gained from each one. I also did a stint as an online ESL teacher and an Epic teacher during those years. This last year, I finally got back into teaching in a co-op. I taught Literature at Shine and loved it so much!

Note that a link to the required textbook is included at the top of the syllabus. You can find this book at a number of outlets, but please ensure that you purchase the third edition.
